Parish Council Members' Registers of Interest

The new Standards arrangements that Parliament has put in placemean that it is largely for councils themselves to decide thier own rules.  It is essential that there is confidencethat councillors everywhereare putting the public interest firstand are not benefitting their own financial affairs from being a councillor.  Accordingly within the new standards arrangements there are national rules about councillors interests.

Those rules involve local authority members registering their pecunary interests in a publically available register and to display on the Parish Council website.

The Register of Interests for each Uckington Parish Council member will be  available to view shortly.
